Pune Weather Alert: IMD Predicts Rainfall with Thunder Over the Next 3 Days

The Meteorological Department has issued a weather alert for parts of Maharashtra, including Pune, forecasting the possibility of light rain accompanied by thunder over the next three days until January 9. The weather forecast indicates that isolated places in the state may experience rainfall, with many regions expected to witness cloudy weather.

As per the IMD forecast, January 7 will bring cloudy weather with a chance of rain in isolated areas such as Pune, Kolhapur, Nashik, Jalgaon, and Ahmednagar. On January 8, there is a potential for heavy rain in Dhule and Nandurbar, leading the Meteorological Department to issue a yellow alert for rain.

Chance of Rain Today: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted light rains for various parts of Maharashtra, including Jalgaon, Dhule, and Nandurbar in North Maharashtra on Saturday. As predicted, the region witnessed rain on Saturday, and sporadic showers are expected to continue today. The prevailing weather conditions are influenced by an active low-pressure area over the Southwest Arabian Sea and the formation of vapor clouds extending northward from North Konkan.

Residents and commuters are advised to stay updated with weather alerts and take necessary precautions as the region anticipates a mix of rainfall and thunderstorms over the next few days.
