Pune Weather Alert: Cloudy Skies and Isolated Rains Expected Today, IMD Predicts

Pune, Maharashtra, and other parts of the region are likely to experience a shift in weather patterns, with the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) Pune predicting cloudy weather, isolated rains, thunder, and more on March 2nd. Dr. Anupam Kashyapi, Head of the Weather Forecasting Division at IMD Pune, provided insights into the anticipated conditions, emphasizing the likelihood of bad weather over North Central India, particularly in areas such as Vidarbha and Madhya Maharashtra.

According to Dr. Kashyapi, “Areas of Vidarbha & Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada are likely to get cloudy weather, isolated light / moderate rain, thunder, lightning, strong gusty wind. Isolated hail likely over Marathwada & Vidarbha today. Be watchful.”

In Pune, March 2nd is expected to bring cloudy skies, with the possibility of thunder, lightning, and light to very light rain. Additionally, fog may be present in the morning.

Looking ahead to March 3rd, the sky is anticipated to mainly remain clear, with intermittent cloud cover and potential morning fog.

March 4th is predicted to feature predominantly clear skies in Pune.

Moving into March 5th, 6th, and 7th, the weather forecast suggests that the sky will remain clear during this period.
