Junnar, 7th July 2023: A heartbreaking incident unfolded in Junnar as an elderly man lost his life after being struck by a reversing ambulance. The incident occurred on Saturday evening at approximately 6:38 PM and was captured by nearby CCTV cameras, shedding light on the tragic event.
The unfortunate accident took place when the ambulance, which belonged to a healthcare facility, was in the process of maneuvering in reverse. Unfortunately, during this maneuver, the vehicle collided with the elderly man, inflicting severe injuries. Despite immediate medical attention, the victim’s injuries proved fatal. Authorities have identified the victim as a senior citizen residing in the Junnar taluka of Pune district.
In response to the incident, the police have initiated an investigation to determine the precise circumstances leading to the accident.
