Pune: In a shocking incident, a 29-year-old woman was molested by an accused by forcefully entering the house. This incident took place on Monday, November 4, at around 6:30 in the evening in a colony in the vicinity of the Sachhai Mata temple in Katraj. In this regard, a victim woman registered a complaint against a 37-year-old accused at Bharti University Police Station.
According to the police, the victim woman and the accused, Netaji Bharat Mahor (37), a resident of Santosh Nagar, Katraj, are acquainted with each other. On Monday evening, when the complainant was working at her home, the accused intruded into the plaintiff’s house and held her tightly from behind. It has been mentioned in the complaint that when the woman attempted to resist the accused, he forcibly molested her by making obscene actions towards her.
Following the incident, a woman registered a police complaint against Mahor at Bharti University Police Station on Wednesday. A case under IPC 354, 354A, 354B, and 509 has been registered against Mahor, and further investigation is being conducted by Assistant Police Inspector Bhabad.
