Pune witnessed a shocking incident as notorious gangster Sharad Hiraman Mohol met a tragic end in a daring daylight attack. The Pune City Police Force has confirmed the incident, revealing that Mohol was fatally shot in a hail of bullets.
On a Friday afternoon, Mohol was on his way to his residence in Sutardara, Kothrud, when unidentified assailants on two-wheelers targeted him, unleashing a rapid barrage of gunfire. Sources suggest that one bullet pierced Mohol’s shoulder, causing severe injuries.
Promptly rushed to Sahyadri Hospital for urgent medical attention, Mohol’s injuries proved fatal, resulting in his untimely demise during treatment.
As of now, the identity of the assailants remains unclear, and the police are actively searching for them.
Despite his criminal background, Sharad Mohol had recently been actively involved in social work. Close associates indicate that he harbored political aspirations and was eyeing the upcoming elections.
