Pune: RMD Foundation to conduct public chanting programme of ‘Shree Uvasaggahar Stotra’

PUNE: The public chanting programme of the ‘Shree Uvasaggahar Stotra’, which is considered as one of the holiest stotras by the Jain community, will be held on Sunday (September 10). The programme will be held at Shriman Rasiklalji M Dhariwal Bhavan, Yash Lawns, Bibvewadi at 4 pm. The President of RMD Foundation, Janhavi Dhariwal Balan and Vice-President Shobha Rasiklal Dhariwal have issued an appeal that people of all age groups, Jains and non-Jains should attend the programme.

The public chanting programme of the ‘Shree Uvasaggahar Stotra’ was held for the first time in 2017 in the presence of Rasiklal Dhariwal. It was held in 2018 in the presence of Bharat Gourav, Shantidoot Jain Digambar Muni Acharya Pulaksagarji Maharaj and 10,000 Jains and non-Jains. In 2019, the vent was held in the presence of Jain Acharya Samrat Dr Shivmuniji M and 15,000 Jains and non-Jains. In 2020, the programme was held on YouTube in the presence of Ramnik Muniji due to the coronavirus pandemic and in 2021, it was again held online in the presence of Tarak Rishiji and thousands of people. In 2022, the programme was held in the presence of Uppravartini Mahasati Sumitraji MS.

It is a common belief that the regular recital of ‘Shree Uvasggahar Stotra’ alleviates problems caused by unfavourable stars, health problems, enemies and other problems.

This is the seventh year of the public chanting of ‘Shree Uvasaggahar Stotra’ and it will be held in the presence of Dr Sadhvi Kumudlataji MS Adithana-4. The programme has been organised by the President of RMD Foundation, Janhavi Dhariwal Balan and Vice-President Shobha Rasiklal and it will be held at Shriman Rasiklal M Dhariwal Bhavan, Yash Lawns, Bibvewadi at 4 pm on Sunday. The programme will start at 4 pm and Jains and non-Jains should participate in the programme. The men should wear white clothes and women should wear orange clothes, said Janhavi Dhariwal Balan and Shobha Rasiklal Dhariwal.
