Pune Police Swiftly Responds to Bomb Scare at Poona Hospital, Intensive Search Ensues

Late Thursday night, the Pune Police Control Room received an anonymous call, raising concerns about a potential bomb threat at Poona Hospital. The immediate response from law enforcement included the deployment of the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) to conduct a comprehensive search of the hospital premises.

The anonymous call, indicating the presence of a planted bomb, prompted heightened security measures and caused a temporary disturbance in the central part of the city. Senior police officials, along with the BDDS team, swiftly reached the location to assess the situation and address the potential threat.

Throughout the night, the BDDS team, accompanied by police personnel, meticulously combed through the hospital premises in search of any suspicious items or devices. The intensive search continued until the early hours of the morning.
