Pune, 7th July 2023: Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) has announced the extension of two bus routes to accommodate the growing demand from commuters in specific areas.
In response to the needs of the residents, Bus Route No. 179, which initially operated from Hadapsar to Vimannagar, will now be extended further to Lohegaon. This extension will provide residents of Lohegaon with a convenient bus service, connecting them to Hadapsar and Vimannagar without the need for multiple transfers.
Additionally, Bus Route No. 225, which previously served commuters traveling from Hinjewadi Phase 3 to Vimannagar, will now be extended to Kharadi Gaon Depot. This extension aims to meet the transportation requirements of residents in Kharadi and nearby areas, offering them a direct bus service to Hinjewadi Phase 3 and Vimannagar, eliminating the need for multiple bus transfers.
The decision to extend these routes is a direct response to the increasing demand from passengers in these specific areas. Previously, commuters traveling along these routes had to switch buses twice, resulting in inconvenience and longer travel times. With the extension of these routes, passengers can now enjoy a more seamless and efficient bus journey, significantly improving their overall commuting experience.
