The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) is gearing up to announce the winners of its reward program, a commendation for those who diligently fulfilled their property tax obligations by the July 31st deadline. Originally scheduled for August 17, the event has been rescheduled to Sunday, August 20.
The much-anticipated online draw for the incentive scheme, introduced by the PMC to encourage timely property tax payments, is just around the corner. Participants are in the running to win an impressive array of prizes worth around one crore rupees.
PMC’s Innovative Lottery Scheme for Taxpayers
Citizens who dutifully paid their property taxes before July 31st enjoyed discounts ranging from 5 to 10 percent. Going a step further, the PMC rolled out a prize pool worth up to one crore rupees, exclusively for taxpayers who adhered to the payment deadline.
Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar revealed that the grand prize distribution event is set to take place imminently. The lineup of rewards includes an exciting assortment of 45 prizes, encompassing vehicles, e-bikes, mobile devices, laptops, and much more.
