Pune, 7th August 2023: Amid the positive response garnered by Pune Metro following the inauguration of two extended routes, an incident highlighting the efficiency and alertness of metro officials has come to light. A distressing incident unfolded at the Ideal Colony Metro Station, where a child went missing from his parents’ side on platform number 1.
Reacting swiftly to the distress call, Pune Metro officials promptly engaged with the centralised control room. The concerned family promptly shared the child’s information with the officials, seeking their assistance. Leveraging the centralized control system of the Pune Metro, the missing child was rapidly located, leading to his reunion with the family within a mere 20 minutes.
