In a bid to elevate passenger service efficiency, Pune Metro has announced a significant reduction in the arrival time of trains during peak hours, providing commuters with a faster and more streamlined experience.
According to the official statement from Pune Metro, the good news for metro riders is that trains will now arrive every 7.5 minutes during peak hours and every 10 minutes during non-peak hours. Additionally, the metro service will introduce 32 extra trips on the purple line and 31 on the aqua line, further improving accessibility and reducing wait times for passengers.
The tweet from Pune Metro highlighted that this improvement in passenger service is part of the New Year festivities, signaling a positive start to 2024 for metro commuters. The implementation of the new timetable is set to commence on January 1, 2024, offering residents and visitors a more efficient and frequent metro service.
