PUNE: The father of famous lavani artiste, Gautami Patil, passed away at a private hospital at Bibvewadi in Pune. Ravindra Patil had been found as a destitute. He died while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Bibvewadi.
According to the available information, Gautami’s parents stay separately. Gautami stays with her mother. Since last few days, Ravindra Patil’s health had deteriorated. He was found on the Surat highway near Dhule by Durgesh Chavan. His identity had not been ascertained and he had been admitted to the district hospital in Dhule. His identity was confirmed after his Aadhaar card was found.
Later, Chavan contacted Gautami. She had brought him to Pune for medical treatment. He was being treated at a hospital in Bibvewadi. He passed away during his treatment on Monday. His last rites were conducted at a crematorium in Dhankawadi.
