Pune: Katraj Records Highest Revenue for PMPML from Ticket Sales in June

Pune, 14th July: The Katraj Depot of Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) achieved a significant milestone by recording the highest revenue from ticket sales in the month of June this year. The depot generated a revenue of Rs 4.90 Crore, contributing substantially to the overall earnings of PMPML.

Over the past few months, the Katraj Depot has consistently performed well, with an average revenue of Rs 5 Crore. This steady revenue stream has been a positive boost for PMPML. In addition to Katraj, the Nigdi Depot also performed commendably, generating a revenue of Rs 4.85 Crore, while the Hadapsar Depot recorded revenue of Rs 3.97 Crore in the same period.

On the other hand, the Balewadi and Market Yard depots reported relatively lower revenue figures for the month of June. The Balewadi Depot recorded revenue of Rs 1.39 Crore, while the Market Yard Depot generated revenue of Rs 1.83 Crore.

The variation in revenue among the different depots can be attributed to factors such as location, commuter density, and routes serviced. Depots located in densely populated areas or those serving high-demand routes tend to generate higher revenue. It is essential for PMPML to analyze these variations and identify strategies to optimize revenue generation across all depots.
