EMotorad, a pioneering force in the electric cycle industry, made history today by organizing India’s first-ever E-cyclothon in Pune. The event, held at Baner and commencing at 6:30 AM, marked a significant celebration of World Bicycle Day and World Environment Day, drawing over 200 e-cycling enthusiasts keen on embracing an eco-friendly lifestyle.
The E-Cyclothon Experience
The event witnessed an impressive turnout, with participants eagerly embarking on the 20-km ride through picturesque routes spanning Pashan Hill, NDA, and Aundh before returning to the starting point. Under the guidance of professionals, safety and adherence to regulations remained paramount throughout the journey. Participants, spanning ages from 9 to late 60s, showcased enthusiasm and readiness for the ride ahead.
Pre-Ride Festivities
The day commenced with a vibrant Zumba warm-up session, energizing participants for the exhilarating journey ahead. Upon completion of the ride, participants were treated to a nourishing breakfast and eco-friendly goodie bags, which included plants, whey protein, coffee hampers, stationary, and more. The event also featured an enthralling e-cycle stunt session led by @freestyler.shevi, alias Shivam Naruka from the EM team, captivating the audience with awe-inspiring maneuvers. The event concluded with an award ceremony, where participants were honored with medals, merchandise, and gifts, immortalizing the memorable moments of this landmark event.
