PUNE / KURKUMBH: Four workers were seriously injured in an explosion in Melzer Chemicals Private Limited at Kurkumbh industrial estate in Daund taluka. The incident took place on Saturday at 4.30 pm. The reason for the explosion and the names of the injured are not known.
The police were not aware of the incident and the issue of security in the industrial estate has come to the fore.
When the manufacturing process was going on at the company, an explosion took place and four workers were seriously injured and another worker received minor injuries. The injured have been admitted to Pyramid Hospital in Daund for treatment.
