Pune: Former Deputy Mayor Of Pimpri-Chinchwad Sudamrao Landge Passes Away

Pune / Pimpri-Chinchwad: Sudamrao Hiramanrao Landge, the former deputy mayor of Pimpri-Chinchwad, passed away suddenly on Monday at the age of 67. Landge was a well-known politician and social worker in Pimpri-Chinchwad and had served as the deputy mayor of the city. Bhosari MLA and Mahesh Lange shared this news by posting on social media.

Landge, a resident of Bhosari, was the father of the BJP’s youth leader, Shivraj Landge. He had contested the 2004 elections to the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation and was elected as a deputy mayor. His body was cremated at the crematorium in Bhosari on Tuesday afternoon.

Bhosari MLA and nephew of deceased Sudamrao Landge, Mahesh Landge, took to social media to express his grief and condolences. His post said, “My uncle and former deputy mayor of Pimpri Chinchwad Sudamro Landge passed away on Monday morning suddenly. He was the father of my colleague and BJP youth leader, Shivraj Landge. He has contributed immensely to the political and social spheres of the city. His sudden demise is very painful for the entire Landge family. He has guided me throughout my political journey from time to time. The Landge family has lost another mentor with his demise.”

With the passing of Sudamro Landge, all political leaders and party activists across the party lines are paying their condolences to him and his family.
