Lohegaon, 24th June 2023: Residents of Splendid Courtyard Society on Porwal Road in Lohegaon experienced a temporary setback today as a fallen tree blocked the entrance of the society, leaving them stranded and unable to enter or exit the premises. The incident occurred around 7:30 pm, following a light rain shower that occurred in the city.
Upon receiving the distress call, the local fire brigade promptly responded and arrived at the scene around 8 pm to assess and address the situation. With efficient teamwork, the fire brigade successfully removed the fallen tree within 10 minutes, restoring access to the society entrance.
The presence of the fallen tree has also caused a minor disruption in traffic flow near the location, adding to the inconvenience faced by both residents and passersby.
