PUNE: The court has given a shock to a man who was assaulting his wife and harassing her. JMFC VP Khandare admitted a petition filed by a woman seeking protection from her husband. The court has issued an order that her husband should not contact her and enter her house. The woman was being harassed by her husband as he was suspicious of her character. Since she was being abused and assaulted, she had submitted a petition through Ad Pushkar Patil and Ad Pranav Mate seeking protection under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act from domestic violence.
The woman had made a demand through an interim petition that she should get immediate protection from her husband. Ad Patil and Ad Mate cited various rulings of the SC and presented evidence and argued that her husband should be barred from entering her house.
The advocates of the opposing party were given an opportunity but since they did not voice their say, the advocates of the plaintiff demanded that the court should issue an interim order. The court has issued an order barring her husband from contacting her and entering her house.
