Pune: 9.61 lakh people travel by Pune Metro during Ganeshotsav; Maximum number of people travel on Anant Chaturdashi

PUNE: During Ganeshotsav this year, 9.61 lakh people travelled by Pune Metro. The Pune Metro administration has earned an income of ₹1.40 crore. Highest ridership was recorded on Anant Chaturdashi when 1.63 lakh passengers travelled by Pune Metro.

During the Ganeshotsav, the Pune Metro services were operated till midnight and on Anant Chaturdashi, they were open till 2 am. The Pune Metro services received an overwhelming response during the festival on both the routes. In two days, 3 lakh people have travelled by the Pune Metro. On the last day of the festival, all coaches were packed to capacity.

On the last day of the festival, Pune Metro services were kept open from 6 am to 2 am on the next day. Huge number of passengers travelled by Pune Metro on the last day. i.e. 1.63 lakh

Pune Metro administration earned an income of ₹25.58 lakh on the last day. A day earlier, 1.35 lakh people had travelled by the metro.
Meanwhile, the Pune Metro is getting an increasing response from people.
