Pune: As many as 67 gelatin sticks, used in an explosion, were found in the Wadki village area at the foothills of the Dive Ghat section. The Bomb Detection Disposal Squad (BDDS) seized them from the spot. An offence has been registered at the Loni Kalbhor Police Station in this regard.
The 67 gelatin sticks were recovered from a hill near Gavdara Vasti in Wadki on Hadapsar-Saswad Road, this was informed by villagers. The Loni Kalbhor Police summoned the BDDS at the spot. The sticks have been examined. They booked unidentified persons for endangering the lives of citizens. The police are investigating the case. Gelatin sticks are used in deep excavation such as digging wells, trenches, etc.
