Pune: In a shocking incident in Lohegaon a 16-year-old girl was allegedly molested by her 19-year-old boyfriend. Pune police has arrested the accused in this case. The incident took place at the house of a friend of the accused in Lohegaon on August 5 at around 2 pm.
A minor girl from Wagholi has filed a complaint in Viman Nagar police station in this matter. Police have arrested Mohit Yuvraj Salve (19) a resident of Yerwada under Indian Penal Code (IPC) section 354 (A) and POCSO Act.
According to the police, ” The accused and minor girl was having an affair. The accused took the girl to a friend’s house and molested her. After the girl’s mother got information about the incident she asked her about it. A complaint was filed against the accused in the police station on Monday after realising that there was an affair between the accused and the girl.
The police have registered a case of molestation and arrested the accused and are further investigating the case.
