In a commendable move to support students during the crucial class 10 and 12 examinations, the Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) has introduced a range of initiatives aimed at alleviating transportation concerns.
These student-centric measures are designed to ensure a hassle-free commuting experience during the exam season:
- Valid Bus Passes:
- Students possessing bus passes will benefit from automatic validation for travel between their residence and the examination center, eliminating the need for separate passes.
- Front Door Entry:
- To streamline boarding procedures, students will be granted entry through the front door of buses during exam times, facilitating swift and efficient boarding.
- Preferential Service:
- Designated officers at busy bus stands will oversee preferential bus services specifically tailored for exam-going students, prioritizing their transportation needs.
- Additional Bus Services:
- PMPML commits to deploying extra buses as per instructions from school management, addressing the heightened demand for transportation services during exam periods.
PMPML encourages both Class 10 and 12 examinees, along with their parents, to take full advantage of these travel facilities. The initiative is set to run from February 21 to March 19, 2024, for Class 12 and from March 1 to March 26, 2024, for Class 10, ensuring that transportation concerns do not pose a hindrance to students during this critical examination period.
