The Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd (PMPML) has made special arrangements of buses on 8th March 2024 on the occasions of Mahashivratri & Women’s Day.
As per further information from PMPML, here is the entire information of bus arrangements on Mahashivratri & Women’s Day:
Mahashivratri
For the convenience of devotees on the occasion of Mahashivratri, on Saturday 8/3/2024, PMPML has planned buses from important bus stands. There is a large crowd of devotees from the city as well as from the suburbs to go to Nilakantheshwar (Rulegaon), Baneshwar (Nasrapur), Ghoravadeshwar Temple Paytha (Shankarwadi) respectively. For the convenience of these devotees, buses have been arranged by the PMPML from the bus stands mentioned below:

· First ferry from Katraj Sarpodnyan to Baneshwar (Cheladi Phata) will be at 5.30 am. There are 2 additional crews for the Yatra and 11 buses on alternate bus route numbers 61, 293, 296 and 296-A on an average frequency of every 20 minutes will be available.
· 1st ferry from Swargate main stand to Nilkantheshwar (Rulegaon) will be at 3.30 am. For the yatra, 12 extra crew and alternative bus route numbers 52-A, 2 regular and extra crew buses on an average frequency of every 15 to 20 minutes will be made available.
· From Nigdi (Pavale Chowk) to Ghorawdeshwar Mandir Paytha (Shankarwadi), the first ferry will be at 5.20 am. There would 20 buses on an average frequency of every 10 to 15 minutes on 5 alternative bus routes numbers 305, 341, 342, 368 and 371 will be made available.
Hence, the PMPML is appealing to maximum number of devotees to take advantage of the bus service provided from all the three bus stations.
Women’s Day
On the occasion of International Women’s Day on 08/03/2024, PMPML will provide free travel for women passengers in 17 buses running on 17 routes in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad cities, which are:
