PMC’s Complaint Leads to Investigation of Unregistered Kondhwa School in Pune

Pune Municipal Corporation

Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has taken legal action against an educational institution operating without proper government authorization. An official from the PMC’s education department has filed an official complaint with the Kondhwa police station regarding the unauthorized operation of a local school.

The complaint alleges that the school in question had not completed the necessary registration process on the government’s Saral Portal. This omission has resulted in significant issues for students who were admitted to the school, as they did not receive Saral IDs. This oversight has subsequently caused difficulties for these students when attempting to secure admissions to other educational institutions after completing their studies at the unregistered school.

To address this matter, authorities have taken decisive action by registering a case against the responsible parties associated with the Tims Taqwa Ismalim Maqtab and School located in Kondhwa. The charges filed against them are serious and include violations under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including sections 420, 406, 465, 468, and 34.

The central issue at hand is that the school, despite lacking government approvals, enrolled numerous students for classes ranging from Class I to Class VIII. This not only poses a legal concern but also raises questions about the quality of education and facilities provided to the students during their time at the school.

The students who have completed their education at this unregistered institution now face substantial challenges in pursuing further studies and securing admissions to recognized educational establishments. The PMC’s complaint and subsequent legal action aim to rectify this situation and ensure that students receive the educational opportunities they deserve.

An officer from the Kondhwa Police Station has confirmed the registration of the case and noted that further investigations into the matter are currently underway. The PMC’s efforts underscore the importance of proper authorization and adherence to regulatory processes in the education sector to safeguard the interests and futures of students.
