In a devastating incident that unfolded yesterday afternoon at Pirangut Ghat around 1 o’clock, a tempo driven by Govind Bhalchandra Lal collided with five two-wheelers and one four-wheeler on the ramp of the Pune-Kolad highway, leaving seven people injured. Among the victims is a critical condition doctor who has been urgently transported to a private hospital in Pune, while the other six injured individuals are receiving medical attention at private hospitals in Pirangut and Lavale Phata.
The Paud police station has registered a case against the tempo driver, Govind Bhalchandra Lal.
