Painting Competition Triumphs at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1, Air Force Station, Pune

Lohegaon, 23rd January 2024: The Ministry of Education’s Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024 unfolded a lively Painting Competition at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1, Air Force Station, Pune. A hundred students from classes IX to XII, representing CBSE, STATE schools, Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs), and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs), participated with zeal. The competition explored themes such as Exam Mantras from Exam Warriors, Chandrayan Mission, India’s sporting achievements, Aditya L-1, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, and Developing India.

A distinguished panel of experts, including Mr. Dyaneshwar Dhavale, a renowned National artist from Pune, Mrs. Gazala Parveen, Art Director at FT II, Pune, and Mrs. Geetanjali Londhe, Art teacher at Symbiosis School, Pune, served as the eminent jury. Judging criteria encompassed Creativity and Originality, Interpretation and clarity of the Theme, Technical excellence, Fineness, and Overall impression.

The valedictory function unfolded at 1:30 pm in the school CCA Hall. The top honor went to Miss Sidra Siddiquee of class XI from Air Force School, Chandannagar. Securing the second position was Miss Kavya Kondalkar of class XI, also from Air Force School, Chandannagar. Master Aniket Tomar of class IX, PM SHRI KV No. 1, Air Force Station, claimed the third position. Miss Ishita Handa (class IX) of Vikhe Patil Memorial School, Lohegaon, and Miss Riddhi Khandalkar (class IX) of Army School, Dighi, Pune, secured the 4th and 5th positions, respectively.

The position holders were honored with books on National Freedom fighters and certificates, while the remaining 95 participants received copies of Exam Warriors and Digital Certificates. Mr. R N Wadalkar, Principal of PM SHRI KV No. 1, Air Force Station, Pune, presented the awards.
