No Discussion held on ‘PM Post’: Sharad Pawar

Sharad Pawar

Pune: Sharad Pawar, the president of the NCP, stated on Monday that there was no discussion of the “prime ministerial post” during the opposition parties’ conference hosted in Patna last week in preparation for the Lok Sabha elections scheduled for next year.

Pawar informed reporters in Baramati town in this part of Maharashtra that there had been debates on topics including inflation, unemployment, and “deliberate attempts” at some locations to incite communal forces.

He also criticised the ruling party for speaking against the opposition meeting. Pawar questioned why the BJP was concerned about the conclave, asserting that there was a lack of “political maturity”.
