The officials from Mundhwa Police station have arrested individuals involved in a series of house burglaries and two-wheeler thefts. The operation has resulted in the recovery of 14 stolen motorcycles and the retrieval of cash and gold amounting to a total of 7 lakhs.

The prime suspect, identified as Gorakh Vilas Dhande in his twenties, hailing from Shivshambho Nagar, Gokul Nagar, Katraj, has been taken into custody. Additionally, a minor accomplice was also detained in connection with the crimes.

The police, responding to the increasing incidents of vehicle theft, had intensified patrolling efforts in the area. Their vigilance paid off when Head Constable Dinesh Bhandurge and Constable Sachin Patil received information about the suspicious activities of two individuals in Ghorpadi village, suggesting their intent to commit a crime. Acting swiftly, the police detained one of the suspects.

Upon further investigation, it was revealed that the arrested individuals were responsible for the theft of 14 motorcycles. Additionally, they were found to be in possession of stolen gold and cash, collectively valued at 7 lakhs.
