Mrunal Ganjale, teacher in Pune Zilla Parishad School, gets national teacher award

PUNE: The Union Education Ministry has announced the national teacher awards. Mrunal Ganjale, a teacher in a Pune Zilla Parishad School, has won the award and this year, only one teacher has won the award in the state.

Every year, the Union Education Ministry gives awards to teachers who have made valuable contribution in the field of education. The teachers are presented the awards on the National Teachers’ Day. This year, the award has been declared for 50 teachers in the country.

The award ceremony will be held on September 5 at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi. Mrunal Ganjale is a teacher in Adarsh Primary School at Pimpalgaon Mhalunge in Ambegaon taluka in Pune district. For last few years, at least two teachers had got the award. However, this year, only one teacher has been honoured at the national level.
