MNS Workers Take a Stand: Outrage and Vandalism Over Minor’s Rape Case in Pune

In a shocking incident that has rocked Pune, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) workers, led by Vasant More, took matters into their own hands and vandalized the NGO premises located in the railway quarters on Tadiwala Road. This disturbing act of vandalism occurred in the wake of a heinous crime, as a minor girl, rescued from Pune railway station, was allegedly subjected to a gang-rape. Despite the registration of an FIR, the accused RPF head constable, Anil Pawar, remains at large, prompting a thorough investigation by the Government Railway Police (GRP).

Taking a Stand Against Injustice

Vasant More, through a Facebook live video, expressed the profound outrage and concern shared by many in the community. He stated unequivocally, “Crimes against our sisters won’t be tolerated.” More’s strong words conveyed the urgency and seriousness of the situation, reflecting the collective demand for justice.

Furthermore, More called for the immediate ban of the organization involved and held its directors accountable for their actions. The anguish and frustration stemming from the lack of resolution in this case are palpable in his words.

In a stern warning, More declared that he was prepared to take direct action, even if it meant breaking into the RPF office when necessary. He highlighted the urgency of the situation, criticizing the vague responses from the commissioner’s office and emphasizing that the ongoing evasion of the accused poses a significant risk of them escaping justice.
