MLA Siddharth Shirole Takes Key Role in Pune’s Urban Development: Appointed to PMRDA Planning Committee

In a significant move aimed at advancing strategic urban planning in Pune and its neighboring regions, Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Siddharth Shirole has been appointed as a member of the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority’s (PMRDA) Metropolitan Planning Committee. The Maharashtra State Government’s decision reflects its commitment to fostering well-planned and sustainable development in Pune.

Established in 2021, the PMRDA Metropolitan Planning Committee holds the responsibility of planning and developing various facets of urban infrastructure, urban transport, environment, and industry in Pune and its adjacent areas. The committee plays a pivotal role in shaping the future growth and sustainability of the Pune metropolitan region.

MLA Siddharth Shirole, expressing his reaction to the appointment, emphasized his extensive experience as a public representative. With a background that includes serving as a corporator, director of Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML), and the MLA of Chhatrapati Shivajinagar constituency, Shirole brings a wealth of knowledge and practical insights to the committee.

“I have experience as a public representative as a corporator, director of PMPML, and MLA of Chhatrapati Shivajinagar constituency. While the city is developing, I will try to develop the area around the city,” stated MLA Shirole.
