Pune, August 11, 2023: The spirit of competition is set to ignite as 300 players from Pune district gear up for the Late Vinayak Nimhan District Level Badminton Tournament. Organized collaboratively by Sunny Sports Kingdom, Someshwar Foundation, and Kreeda Jagruti, this exciting tournament will unfold at Sunny’s World, Pashan Sus Road from August 12th to 15th, 2023.
Mr. Sunny Nimhan, Director of Sunny’s World, highlighted that the tournament is being conducted under the aegis of the Pune District Badminton Association, with technical support from the Mushtaq Badminton Academy. With a generous prize pool of around Rs. 1,00,000/-, the event will encompass various categories including Boys and Girls Singles and Doubles for Under 11, 13, 15, 16, and 19, as well as the Mix Doubles category for Under 15, 17, and 18.
The tournament promises a spirited showcase of skills as 300 players from across the district converge on the courts. Notable participants who have already confirmed their presence include Jatin Saraf, Diyan Parekh, Atiksh Agarwal, Kyra Raina, Divisha Singh, Ovi Bhosale, Sameehan Deshpande, Padmashree Pillai, Sanvi Patil, Abhigyan Sinha, Akshar Zope, Riddhima Joshi, Ayushi Kale, Purva Valavande, and Harsh Patil.
