Increased Services Address Travel Needs Amidst Growing Passenger Demand
Responding to popular demand, the Indian Railways has announced the extension of the Indore-Pune weekly special train service, numbered 09324, from May 1, 2024, to June 26, 2024, to accommodate nine additional trips. This decision comes in light of heightened passenger demand and positive feedback received during the initial run of the special service.
Originally slated to conclude on April 24, 2024, the Indore-Pune weekly special train has garnered significant attention and patronage, prompting authorities to prolong its operation to cater to the needs of commuters. Similarly, the corresponding Pune-Indore weekly special train, numbered 09323, will also be extended from May 2, 2024, to June 27, 2024, facilitating a total of nine trips. Importantly, there will be no changes to the timings, composition, or halts for these extended journeys.
Passengers interested in availing themselves of the extended services are advised to make reservations promptly. Bookings for journeys on the aforementioned special train numbers—07638, 09628, 04716, and 09323—are now open at all computerized reservation centers and via the official IRCTC website (www.irctc.co.in).
