A horrific accident unfolded on the Pune-Bengaluru National Highway near Karad when a speeding truck collided with a stationary container, resulting in a devastating collision. The impact was so severe that the truck was left completely mangled. Although miraculously three individuals from the truck survived, the driver and two passengers tragically lost their lives. Among the deceased, a police constable from the Kolhapur Police Force, Nitin Pawar, and civilians Manisha Appasaheb Jadhav and Abhishek Appasaheb Jadhav met with a tragic fate.
The accident was attributed to mechanical issues with the container, as per official reports. The truck, en route to Pune, collided forcefully with the stationary container, leading to this catastrophic event.
