Fire Scare at Janta Vasahat: Four Auto Rickshaws Consumed by Flames, No Casualties

In the early hours of Sunday, a fire incident sent shockwaves near the Janta Vasahat area as four auto rickshaws were engulfed in flames. Fortunately, the incident did not result in any casualties or injuries.

According to officials from the fire brigade, the incident unfolded when a vigilant watchman, working at a nearby site, noticed the flames and immediately rushed to the local fire brigade station. It was approximately 2:18 am on Sunday when he reported the fire consuming the parked auto rickshaws. Promptly, the fire brigade team was dispatched to the scene, and their swift response played a crucial role in bringing the fire under control.

Officials at the scene acknowledged that a potentially catastrophic event was narrowly averted. With more vehicles parked in close proximity, there was a significant risk of the fire spreading to other vehicles, which could have resulted in a much larger disaster.

Despite their efforts, the fire brigade officials have been unable to determine the exact cause of the fire. While investigations are ongoing, the possibility of arson or deliberate setting of the vehicles on fire has not been ruled out.
