FIR Filed Against Sambhaji Bhide and 150 Others for Unauthorized Rally

In a recent turn of events, an FIR (First Information Report) has been filed against prominent Hindutva activist Sambhaji Bhide and more than 150 individuals who participated in a rally held on the outskirts of Pune. The rally, which took place in the Manjari Kolwadi area, just off the Pune-Ahmednagar Road, occurred on Saturday without obtaining the necessary police permit.

The FIR was officially registered at the Lonikand police station, situated under the Pune City jurisdiction, late on Sunday. This legal action comes in response to the blatant disregard for the law by the organizers and participants of the rally.

Sambhaji Bhide is a well-known figure as the founder and leader of the Hindutva organization Shri Shivpratishthan Hindustan.

The rally’s organizers had initially sought permission from the local police to conduct the event, but their request was denied. The denial was based on a careful evaluation of various factors by the authorities, including concerns related to public safety and order.

Despite the refusal of the permit, the organizers proceeded with the rally, which prompted the police to take immediate action. An FIR has been filed against Sambhaji Bhide, as well as more than 150 other individuals, including the event’s organizers, invoking provisions of the Bombay Police Act.
