Filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri Conferred With Honorary Doctorate by Governor of Maharashtra

Renowned filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, celebrated for his impactful and socially relevant films, has been honored with an Honorary Doctorate by the Governor of Maharashtra. The acclaimed director, known for his thought-provoking narratives, received the prestigious recognition at DY Patil University, Pune. His films, such as ‘The Kashmir Files’ and ‘The Vaccine War,’ have not only garnered critical acclaim but have also left a lasting impression on viewers. ‘The Kashmir Files’ received the National Award and various other accolades for its compelling storytelling and conviction. On the other hand, ‘The Vaccine War’ showcases the resilience of Indian women scientists and their role in developing the Corona vaccine, highlighting Agnihotri’s ability to deliver quality content.

Continuing his pursuit of thought-provoking cinema, Agnihotri is also actively working on ‘The Delhi Files,’ another courageous and real-life film that is set to contribute to the filmmaker’s legacy of impactful storytelling.
