Pune, August 26, 2023: In a heartwarming initiative aimed at enriching the lives of underprivileged students through education, the DoRBit Foundation proudly inaugurated a new library at the ZP School in Bhavani Nagar Village, Mulshi Taluka, Pune on August 26, 2023.
This event marked a significant milestone in the foundation’s “Your Book” initiative, which seeks to establish libraries in deserving schools across India. The inauguration of the library not only symbolized the introduction of a repository of knowledge but also brought immense joy to the faces of young learners, promising them a world of learning, exploration, and opportunity.
The DoRBit Foundation, with its strong presence in the education sector, has undertaken the noble mission of providing quality education and essential infrastructure to students who lack access to basic resources. The “Your Book” project, an integral part of this mission, has garnered remarkable success. The newly inaugurated library in Bhavani Nagar Village marks the tenth addition to the foundation’s initiative, with libraries already established in Pune, Kolhapur, Nagpur, and other regions, positively impacting the lives of countless young minds.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of the DoRBit Foundation’s Director, Indrajit Roy, and Initiative Lead, Abhishek Singh, accompanied by their spouses Puspa Roy and Anjali Kumari. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was a collaborative effort that involved village leaders and the school’s headmaster, Ramesh Marne.
The event served as a platform to distribute books to eager students, with each book symbolizing a gateway to a world of imagination and knowledge.
