Sangvi, March 6, 2024: In a delightful announcement, the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation declared the reopening of the Late Balasaheb Shitole Swimming Pool at Old Sangvi, extending a warm invitation to all citizens. Under the Sports Department of the Municipal Corporation, the swimming pool is set to welcome residents starting Thursday, March 7, 2024.
To enhance the experience for swimmers, the Municipal Corporation has provided various facilities at the swimming pool. Online ticket booking and pass facilities are available for the convenience of citizens, and bookings can be made through the official website of the Municipal Corporation: https://www.pcmcindia.gov.in.
A plea has been made by the Municipal Corporation for residents to make regular use of the swimming pool and take advantage of the facilities provided. The Late Balasaheb Shitole Swimming Pool will operate from 6:00 am to 9:45 am and from 2:30 pm to 6:15 pm, with a special summer camp facility available from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Additionally, the swimming pool boasts a baby tank facility for toddlers.
Ensuring the safety of swimmers, lifeguards, security officers, and managers have been appointed through the organization MESCO. With the approaching summer season, the reopening of the swimming pool provides an excellent opportunity for citizens to beat the heat and enjoy a refreshing swim.
