Critical Pipeline Work Prompts Traffic Diversion on B T Kawade Road in Pune

In a bid to facilitate the smooth installation of a crucial stormwater pipeline, the Pune Municipal Corporation has announced a temporary traffic diversion plan on B T Kawade Road. The affected area spans from Kusum Kunj Niwas to Regent Heights Building, located under the BT Kawade Flyover.

Vijaykumar Magar, Deputy Commissioner of Police, has declared changes in traffic flow under the B T Kawade Road Flyover, effective from November 25 to November 28, coinciding with the duration of the pipeline installation work. During this period, the eastern lane of the Kawade Road flyover, leading from Kusum Kunj Niwas to Regent Height Building and heading towards Hadapsar, will be temporarily closed under the jurisdiction of the Wanowrie Traffic Department.

To minimize inconvenience for commuters, drivers are advised to use the west side lane of the flyover as an alternative route during the specified dates. Pune Traffic Police emphasizes the importance of cooperation from motorists to ensure a smooth and efficient diversion process.

As the authorities work to enhance the city’s infrastructure, adherence to the suggested alternative route is crucial for the safety and convenience of all road users during this temporary traffic adjustment.
