Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis wasted no time in directing the Pune police to conduct a thorough investigation into the incident. Following his instructions, actions were taken against negligent police officials and staff at Sassoon General Hospital. The hospital staff faced allegations of tampering with evidence by swapping the minor’s blood samples with those of his mother to falsify results, indicating he was not intoxicated at the time of the crash.

As the investigation progresses, significant developments have emerged. The minor involved in the crash has been remanded to an observation home until June 5. Furthermore, his father and grandfather have been apprehended on charges of kidnapping the family’s driver and coercing him into taking the blame for the accident. Additionally, the teenager’s mother has also been arrested in connection with the case.
