Chilled to the Bone: Pune Records Season’s Lowest Minimum Temperature at 8.6°C”

Pune, renowned for its pleasant weather, is currently experiencing a notable cold wave, with Shivajinagar registering a temperature of 8.6 degrees Celsius this morning. As the misty mornings persist, fitness enthusiasts have been relishing brisk walks, concluding with a comforting cup of tea.

Yesterday, on January 24th, various areas in Pune city and the district witnessed low temperatures, setting the stage for a continuing cold spell. The Shivajinagar area recorded the lowest temperature of the winter season at 8.6 degrees Celsius at 5:30 am on January 25th.

The weather department forecasts that the city is likely to witness single-digit temperatures for the next couple of days, extending the chilly spell. Several areas across Pune reported low temperatures on the 24th of January.
