In a move to improve railway connectivity, Central Railways has announced the introduction of a bi-weekly express train service between Pune and Amravati. The new train, numbered 11405 Pune-Amravati Bi-Weekly Express, is scheduled to commence its operations from March 10, 2024. The corresponding return service, Train no 11406 Amravati-Pune Bi-Weekly Express, will begin its journeys from March 9, 2024.
Schedule Details:
- From Pune to Amravati (Train no 11405):
- Departure: Every Friday and Monday at 22.45 hrs
- Arrival: Next day at 17.30 hrs
- From Amravati to Pune (Train no 11406):
- Departure: Every Saturday and Monday at 19.50 hrs
- Arrival: Next day at 16.25 hrs
Halting Stations: The trains will make stops at Uruli, Kedgaon, Daund, Jinti Road, Jeur, Kurduwadi, Barsi Town, Osmanabad, Latur, Latur Road, Parli Vaijnath, Parbhani, Purna, Basmat, Hingoli Deccan, Washim, Akola, Murtijapur, and Badnera.
Composition: The trains will consist of a total of 17 ICF coaches, including one First AC, one AC-2 Tier, two AC-3 Tier, five Sleeper Class, eight General Second Class, and two Luggage cum Guard’s brake van Luggage Brake Van.
Reservation Details: Bookings for Train no 11405/11406 will open on March 9, 2024, at all computerized reservation centers and on the official website www.irctc.co.in.
