New Routes to Ease Passenger Rush Between Pune-Sambalpur and Hadapsar-Guwahati
he Central Railways has taken a proactive step to address the surge in passenger demand during the summer season by introducing special trains on two new routes.
Pune-Sambalpur-Pune (24 trips):
- Train No. 08328 will depart from Pune at 09:15 hrs every Tuesday from April 16, 2024, to July 2, 2024, making a total of 12 trips. The train will arrive at Sambalpur at 13:30 hrs the following day.
- Train No. 08327 will depart from Sambalpur at 22:00 hrs every Sunday from April 14, 2024, to June 30, 2024, also making 12 trips. It will reach Pune at 02:45 hrs on the third day.
Halts: Daund Chord Line, Ahmednagar, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Akola, Badnera, Wardha, Nagpur, Gondia, Rajnandgaon, Durg, Raipur, Mahasamund, Khariar Road, Kantabanji, Titlagarh, Balangir & Bargarh Road.
Composition: The train will consist of 22 ICF Coaches, including one AC-2 tier, four AC-3 Tier, nine Sleeper Class, and eight General Second Class coaches, along with two Luggage cum Guard Brake Vans.
Hadapsar-Guwahati-Hadapsar (16 trips):
- Train No. 05609 will depart from Hadapsar at 10:00 hrs every Thursday from May 9, 2024, to June 27, 2024, for a total of 8 trips. It will arrive at Guwahati at 08:15 hrs on the third day.
- Train No. 05610 will depart from Guwahati at 20:40 hrs every Monday from May 6, 2024, to June 24, 2024, also making 8 trips. It will reach Hadapsar at 18:20 hrs on the third day.
Halts: Daund Chord Line, Ahmednagar, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Prayagraj Cheoki, Mirzapur, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Jn., Patliputra, Hajipur, Barauni, Khagaria, Naugachia, Katihar, Kishanganj & New Jalpaiguri.
Composition: The train comprises 18 ICF Coaches, including one AC-2 tier, three AC-3 Tier, 12 Sleeper Class, and 2 Luggage cum Guard Brake Vans.
Reservation: Booking for Train No. 08328 will commence on April 13, 2024, and for Train No. 05609 on April 14, 2024, at all computerized reservation centres and on the www.irctc.co.in website.
