Central Railway Introduces Pune to Hazrat Nizamuddin Special Train to Accommodate Passenger Surge

In response to increased passenger demand, the Central Railway has announced the operation of a special train service between Pune and Hazrat Nizamuddin, aiming to alleviate congestion and facilitate smoother travel for commuters.

Details of the special train service are as follows:

Train No. 01491, the Pune to Hazrat Nizamuddin Superfast Special train, will depart from Pune at 17:30 hrs on March 22, 2024, reaching Hazrat Nizamuddin at 16:45 hrs the following day.

Conversely, Train No. 01492, the Hazrat Nizamuddin to Pune Superfast Special, will depart from Hazrat Nizamuddin at 22:10 hrs on March 23, 2024, arriving in Pune at 23:55 hrs the next day.

The special train will make halts at Lonavala, Kalyan, Vasai Road, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Bhawani Mandi, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, and Mathura stations along its route.

Comprising a total of 22 ICF coaches, the train will feature one First AC cum AC 2 Tier coach, eight AC 3 Tier coaches, six Sleeper Class coaches, and seven General Second Class coaches, including two Luggage cum Guard’s Brake Vans.

Passenger reservations for Train No. 01491 will commence on March 22, 2024, at 8:00 am through all designated booking centers and the IRCTC website.
