Chennai-based real estate developer, Casagrand, has announced plans to invest Rs 8,000 crore in developing 20 million square feet of luxury and affordable housing in Mumbai and Pune over the next three years.
The move marks the company’s expansion beyond its South Indian base, as it ventures into the two prominent metros of Mumbai and Pune. Casagrand has an established track record, having already developed 38 million square feet of real estate across Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, and Hyderabad.
The expansion aligns with the company’s ambitious goals. “We started with a humble beginning in the year 2004, and today, we are one of the top three builders in South India. In the next five years, we aspire to be amongst the top five builders in the country,” stated Arun Mn, Founder and Managing Director of Casagrand.
A Dual Approach: Affordable and Luxury Housing Casagrand’s strategic approach involves catering to diverse segments of the housing market. The developer aims to deliver both affordable and luxury housing projects, recognizing the varying needs and preferences of homebuyers. This dual approach is intended to provide a wider range of options for potential customers in these metropolitan areas.
Expanding Horizons To signify its expansion and aggressive growth plans, Casagrand has chosen to associate with former Indian cricket team captain Sourav Ganguly as its national brand ambassador. Ganguly’s endorsement symbolizes the company’s intent to reach new geographical markets and establish a strong presence in Maharashtra.
Over the years, Casagrand has consistently adhered to project timelines, delivering 123 projects on schedule. The company achieved a significant sales value of Rs 4,200 crore last year, and it aims to surpass this in the current financial year, targeting sales worth Rs 7,200 crore.
As the real estate landscape continues to evolve, Casagrand’s move to diversify its portfolio and extend its footprint into Mumbai and Pune showcases its commitment to providing quality housing solutions while tapping into the potential of these prominent markets.
