Bishop’s Junior College Annual Concert Brings Blockbuster Drama to Pune

In a celebration of artistic expression and talent, The Bishop’s Junior College in Camp, Pune, is gearing up to host its Annual Concert for the academic year 2023-2024 on December 9, 2023. This year’s concert promises a captivating adaptation of the blockbuster Indian film ‘Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway,’ which gained acclaim upon its release earlier this year.

Directed by Gulnar Mistry, the concert unfolds the dramatic narrative centered around the Chatterjee family, who have made Stavanger, Norway, their home after migrating from India. The storyline takes an intense turn as Norwegian Child Services regularly visit the Chatterjee household, expressing concerns about the upbringing of their children, Shubh and Suchi Chatterjee, portrayed by Rajveer Shewale and Adeleyne Edke. The situation escalates when the children are unexpectedly abducted during a visit, leading to the parents, Anirudh and Debika Chatterjee, deemed unfit to retain custody.

The concert promises to deliver riveting courtroom drama, skillfully portrayed by Aurmaan Nahvi, Tiahna Anklesaria, and Zaniaca Irani, talented students of The Bishop’s Junior College. The actors are set to bring to life the challenges faced by the Chatterjee family in their quest to reunite with their children.

While the theatrical performances take center stage, the Bishop’s Junior College Choir is poised to enchant the audience with mesmerizing musical renditions. The concert will feature outstanding solos by some of the college’s finest vocalists, adding an extra layer of artistic excellence to the event.

For those eager to witness this unique blend of drama and music, tickets for the concert will be available at the venue on the day of the event.

Date: December 9
