Alarming Acid Attack Threat: Accused Pressured Girl To Reach Out To Him Or Face Consequence

Pune: The unknown person has been stalking a girl for the past two months. On Sunday, the accused chased the girl and handed over a note of his mobile number, asking her to call him, otherwise threatening to throw an acid on the girl. This perturbing incident took place at the PMPML bus stop at Pune station on November 26 at 9:30 p.m.

According to the police, the accused has been stalking the victim for two months. Meanwhile, the accused attempted multiple times to ask the victim for her mobile number. However, she did not entertain his ill-motivated request.

Surprisingly, in an unexpected turn of events on Sunday, when the victim was boarding the Vadgaon Sheri bus at the Pune station bus stop along with her mother, the accused boarded the bus along with her and handed over her a note, carrying his mobile number on it.

He further threatened the girl to throw an acid at her if she failed to call him this time. Anxious about the incident, the girl immediately rushed to the Bund Garden police station and conveyed all the details to the police. Based on this, police registered a case under IPC 354, 354d, and 506 against an unknown person with a mobile number of 91X60XXXXX.

Assistant Police Inspector of the Bund Garden police station, Madhale, is conducting further investigation into the case.
