Pune, August 12, 2023: The Yonex Sunrise Late Vinayak Nimhan District Level Badminton Tournament witnessed intense battles on the court as Adhrit Siddharth and Ajinkya Chavan emerged victorious in tough matches to advance in their respective categories. The tournament, organized by Sunny Sports Kingdom, Someshwar Foundation, and Kreeda Jagruti, is currently being held at Sunny’s World on Pashan Sus Road.
In the Boys Under 13 event, Adhrit Siddharth displayed his determination and skill by defeating Ridhaan Singh Makkar with a score of 4-15, 15-13, 15-11. Similarly, Ajinkya Chavan showcased his prowess in the Boys Under 11 category, narrowly edging out Aarav Doshi with a score of 9-15, 15-9, 15-12.
The competition featured several exciting matches across various age groups. In the Boys Under 11 category, Siddharth Stavya triumphed over Ivaan Kumar with a score of 15-7, 11-15, 15-8. Arnav Sonawane secured a victory against Aayush Patel with a score of 15-6, 15-4, while Paritosh Paralikar emerged victorious against Ayansh Munde with a score of 15-7, 15-5. Kiyaansh Sharma defeated Kabir Tambe with a score of 15-8, 15-3, and Yashas Mor overcame Aryaveer Gill with a score of 15-11, 15-10.
In the Girls Under 11 category, Nora Iqbal showcased her skill by defeating Amayra Goel with a score of 15-7, 15-9, while Asmi Sapkal secured a victory against Aanya Haldankar with a score of 15-9, 15-4. Sanaya Nirmal displayed her prowess by defeating Geethika Sajith with a score of 15-5, 15-1.
The Boys Under 13 category witnessed Vihaan Kolhade defeating Mandar Kolhatkar with a score of 15-5, 15-6. Anvay Samag secured a victory against Swaroop Kalyankar with a score of 15-7, 15-13. Adhrit Siddharth’s earlier mentioned match result was a testament to his determination and skill. Avdhut Kumbhar triumphed over Dev Sandiip Halarnkar with a score of 15-11, 15-7. Jas Madan displayed resilience in his match against Arnav Dhoot, winning with a score of 18-16, 15-7. Anay Ekbote emerged victorious against Diyan Parekh with a score of 15-4, 15-7, and Vivaan Bhatia secured a win against Anay Jain with a score of 15-4, 16-14.
