Residents of Pimpri Chinchwad are advised to be prepared for potential irregular and low-pressure water supply this Friday evening, as the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) undertakes scheduled installation work. The upcoming project involves the installation of crucial ABT meters at the Ravet impure water treatment plant.
The PCMC’s water supply department has planned to install essential electrical meters, known as A.B.T. meters, at the Rawet impure water treatment center. To facilitate this, the electricity supply to the Ravet impure water treatment center will be temporarily halted on Friday, September 15, between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm, according to official statements.
While the morning water supply to Pimpri Chinchwad will continue unaffected during this scheduled downtime at the Rawet impure water treatment center, residents should anticipate potential irregularities or low-pressure supply in the evening. To mitigate inconvenience, citizens are strongly encouraged to store an ample amount of available water and cooperate with the municipal corporation by using water judiciously, as emphasized by City Engineer Shrikant Savane.
